Hechi sets up grassroots practice base for Nankai University

The signing ceremony of Nankai University's grassroots practice base in Yizhou district and the summer practice exchange symposium were held on July 13, marking the official establishment of Nankai University’s grassroots practice base in Hechi.

The settlement of the base is one of the important measures for Yizhou to broaden its talent recruitment channels, as well as deepen cooperation between the campus and the government. It will also strengthen in-depth exchanges and cooperation with Nankai University in personnel training, job placement practice, as well as school-ground cooperation.

Nankai University will carry out a one-month summer practice activity in Yizhou. The 10-person practice team of Nankai University will focus on topics like talents introduction in poverty-stricken areas, tourism-driven poverty alleviation, and village-level collective economic development. The team will carry out community practice activities in various towns in the district and will provide useful references for the grassroots social governance and administrative management system reform through hanging practices, extensive research, as well as a written research report.

In recent years, Yizhou district has broadened college-government cooperation channels across the country by building production-university-research platforms and co-building bases. It has also strengthened linkages with universities in talent cultivation, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The district has also improved service methods and expanded the scope of cooperation, promoting policy publicity, talent introduction, and talent service positions to provide intellectual support for the development of Yizhou.
