The huge 17th China (Changchun) International Auto Expo kicked off with great fanfare on July 10 in Changchun -- capital of Northeast China's Jilin province -- and will run until July 19, according to local reports.
More than 1,400 vehicles from around 150 automobile brands are being exhibited online and offline, setting a record.
The Changchun-based carmaker FAW Group is showcasing many of its brands in exhibition hall 9 at the Changchun International Conference and Exhibition Center, including the luxury Hongqi range, Bestune, FAW-Volkswagen, FAW-Toyota, and FAW-Mazda.
At the Hongqi exhibition stand, areas have been set up for newly launched cars, SUVs and sedans.
