The 2020 Xiamen Industry Exposition (XMIE) kicked off in the coastal city of Xiamen on July 9, gathering a large number of leading enterprises from home and abroad. The event will end on July 12.
The exhibition area for the expo, which spans 60,000 square meters, has been divided into nine sections displaying products including intelligent manufacturing, rubber and plastics, machining tools, laser-cutting equipment, rail traffic and intelligent logistics, as well as advanced technologies and products from across the Straits.
This year's expo highlighted the latest equipment and advanced technologies of intelligent manufacturing sector.
At its booth in the intelligent manufacturing demonstration zone of the expo, visitors can view a series of high-tech products and technologies, including industrial robots, leading automatic control products and the latest industrial computers.
HSG Laser, a manufacturer of precision laser cutting equipment based in Foshan, Guangdong province, brought to the expo its cutting-edge laser cutting machines.
Cheng Jun, chief engineer of HSG Laser, said that the event offers enterprises an opportunity to showcase their latest achievements and recover from the COVID-19 epidemic.
Over 23 years of development, the expo has grown into the largest and most influential event in the industrial field across the Straits. This year's expo is expected to create new opportunities to promote cross-Straits exchanges and cooperation, and boost the transformation and upgrading of Fujian's traditional manufacturing industry.
