The first high-speed train between Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou province and Dali in Southwest China's Yunnan province will begin operation on July 1.
The G2849 train will depart from Chongqing West Railway Station and get to Guiyang North Railway Station at 15:56, then arrive at Dali at 20:35 after stopping at Anshun West, Panzhou, Qujing North, Kunming and Guangtong North.
The price for a first-class ticket for the whole trip, from Chongqing to Dali, is 591 yuan ($83.45) with a second-class seat being priced at 371 yuan.
When in operation, it will take just four and a half hours for Guiyang tourists to get to Dali.

Dali is the capital of Dali Bai autonomous prefecture and lies west of Kunming. It is honored as a national famous historical and cultural city, a national park of China, and a nature reserve of China. It is home to various famous scenic spots such as Cangshan Mountain, Erhai Lake, Dali Old City, Hudie Spring and the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple.
