Since last year, Hechi has achieved outstanding results in its high-quality development and poverty alleviation efforts through the intellectual support provided by the city's implementation of its talent strategy.
Thousands of experts were arranged to carry out 51 assistance activities on agricultural technology guidance, health clinics, and education in 817 poverty-stricken villages, benefiting 108,000 impoverished people.
Hechi has also held high-level industrial forums to attract talents. Last year, 230 experts and scholars, as well as government officials at all levels gathered at the silk industry development cooperation summit to promote the high-quality development of the silk industry. In addition, 400 guests discussed and planned a sustainable development strategy for traditional medicine and health tourism at the third session of the Bama Forum.
The city strengthened talent tracking services to mobilize local talents to return to Hechi, organized talent exchange meetings and talent recruitment fairs to broaden the talent introduction channels and expand the total number of talents, as well as introduced a batch of special experts according to the needs of the city's poverty alleviation industry development.
In addition, the city has set up talent development platforms to gather talents with special characteristics. Government leaders have also led teams to visit well-known domestic universities to seek support for talents, technology, and the city’s poverty alleviation efforts.
