Shenzhen experts support medical service in Hechi's villages

Ten outstanding medical experts from Futian district, Shenzhen, Guangdong province have been sent to serve as deputy directors at 10 grassroots township hospitals in Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county, Hechi to enrich the township medical team.

Under the arrangement of the Futian health department, a medical team consisting of six attending physicians, three chief physicians, and one supervisor nurse from the Second People's Hospital of Futian District, Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and Shenzhen Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine was formed to work in the township health centers in Huanjiang.

These 10 experts are industry elites from various departments in the Shenzhen medical and health system. They will focus on improving the management deficiencies and lack of technology in the primary medical and health institutions in Huanjiang, as well as strive to train a group of local medical leaders, helping the county consolidate the medical achievements of its poverty alleviation efforts.

Since it launched counterpart assistance in Huanjiang, a total of 24 medical experts from Shenzhen has been sent to carry out medical assistance in the county to improve the medical level of local hospitals, make up for the lack of medical resources in primary health centers, and provide medical services for Maonan people.
