To help the culture and tourism industries recover from the COVID-19 outbreak, Southwest China's Guizhou province recently issued 15 million yuan ($2.12 million) worth of coupons for cultural and tourism products.
The first batch of five million yuan coupons were launched on Ctrip, an online travel agency. The coupons can be used at over 7,000 hotels and homestays, and on hundreds of traveling routes.
Users can book their holidays on Ctrip's official website, app or WeChat mini-program and use the coupons when paying. The coupons will be available to collect until the end of this year.
Ctrip will also launch various preferential activities at different festivals to boost the cultural tourism market.
