The Jiuzhou Industrial Base was approved by the Jiangxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission as a "provincial industrial base" in February 2011, with its industrial development positioned to focus on food, pharmaceuticals and other light industries and the new construction materials industry.
The total planned area of the base is 666.67 hectares and the developed area is 300 hectares. At present, the infrastructure is complete. The road network has been constructed over a distance of 15 kilometers. Other work such as greening, lighting, water supply, and power supply have been accomplished in parallel with the road network.
At present, the base has a total of 38 projects, 12 of which have been put into operation, with the rest under construction. The main products include food, medicine, clothing, electronics, furniture, feed, vacuum glass and other new building materials.
Since 2018, a large number of high-tech projects with large investment have been accelerated. The first batch of six projects that had entered the park include vacuum glass, purification equipment, antibacterial non-woven fabrics, energy-saving nano materials, all-aluminum furniture, and kitchen waste equipment.
