At present, 147 administrative villages in Dahua Yao autonomous county, Hechi have tarmac or cement roads, as well as complete access to bus services, among which 80 villages opened rural passenger lines and bus lines, while 67 villages opened bus reservation service.

The Dahua transportation department has formulated different plans for each village according to the actual situation and the travel needs, arranging different departure schedules and adopting advance appointments.

The passenger cars costs about 0.50 yuan ($0.07) per kilometer, and the journey time is between more than 10 minutes and more than 1 hour, which greatly facilitates villagers to seek medical treatment, enroll in school, go shopping, visit relatives and friends, as well as go out to work.

In order to make it easily accessible to villagers, Dahua has organized various departments to establish a joint review mechanism for the conditions of rural passenger lines.

Rural passenger lines and bus lines are available in most villages, while an appointment passenger transportation service model has beeen adopted in some villages located in remote, sparsely populated, and under-resourced areas.
