With the beneficial policies and measures issued by the Guangxi government and the Hechi government, the construction industry in Hechi has sped up its operations after the full resumption of production following the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
In order to minimize the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic and help the resumption of the construction industry, Hechi has launched a set of measures to stabilize enterprises, people's livelihoods, and industrial development since the beginning of this year.
In order to effectively reduce the gathering of people as part of its COVID-19 prevention and control measures, while not affecting the qualification approval and resumption of production of construction enterprises, the city promptly released an operation manual for online construction project approval, enabling people to handle related businesses through online or telephone voicemail methods.
In addition, in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Guangxi government on supporting the resumption of construction enterprises, Hechi introduced a subsidy measure for stabilizing jobs and supporting enterprises, involving 33 special-grade, first-grade, and second-grade resumed construction projects, with nearly 3,000 people on duty. The total project cost exceeded 4.8 billion yuan ($676.61 million) and the construction output value exceeded 300 million yuan.
