Since March, Jiuwei town in Jinchengjiang district, Hechi has organized 25 volunteer service teams composed of 105 health care workers and village doctors to go to 25 villages (communities) in the town to carry out contract signing services for families to find doctors. They have also been providing health guidance and physical examination for villagers, as well as publicizing disease prevention information.
“By carrying out family doctor services, we can more accurately understand the health status of the impoverished residents and carry out health management services," said Huang Yong, director of the Jiuxu Township Health Center. Currently, the town has completed the signing service of family doctors for all impoverished residents that meets the requisite conditions.

In recent years, Jinchengjiang district has promoted medical services into villages and households, continuously improved contract signings of on-site family doctors, as well as provided health services to impoverished families.
"The doctor regularly comes to help me measure my blood pressure and conducts a health check-up so I can know my physical condition without going out. The service is really in place!" said Liang Menhan, a 69-year-old villager of Jiuxu town.
