The first Fortune 500 project was unveiled on Feb 13 at the Yantai area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, despite the ongoing epidemic.
The project is supported by C&M, a manufacturing company in South Korea, specializing in the production of new energy automotive electronics and related components.
Its products are widely used in the new energy automobile and household appliance industries as well as by auto manufacturers such as Volkswagen and BMW.
The company is also the only supplier of NEXO brand compressor motors for the hydrogen energy vehicles produced by Hyundai Motor Group.
Construction on the project will start after the outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia is resolved, according to the director of the company.
The city’s investment promotion department has made active efforts to help launch the project, earning praise from the company.
