A livestream event was held in Shinan district, Qingdao, on May 3, presenting local preferential policies for talents and several enterprises in the district, attracting over 520,000 viewers.
The event was aimed at allowing young talents and graduates to learn about the core competitiveness of local enterprises, as well as the favorable living environment and promising self-improvement in the district.
According to Ma Bin, an official at the district's bureau of human resources and social security, a series of preferential policies for talents have been put forward. For example, graduates with bachelor's and master's degrees and doctorates can receive a monthly housing allowance of 500 yuan ($70.50), 800 yuan and 1,200 yuan respectively.
Hosts visited eight local enterprises, including the technology transfer center of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Sonli Group, Zhongtian accounting firm of Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC), and Deheng Law Firm.
