On April 30, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 12 new cases of confirmed infections (6 are imported cases, 5 in Shanghai municipality and 1 in Fujian province; and 6 are indigenous cases, 5 in Heilongjiang province and 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region), 3 new cases of suspected infections (all are imported cases in Shanghai), and no deaths. 32 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 882 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases decreased by 3.
As of 24:00 on April 30, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps had reported 1,670 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 1,165 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 505 confirmed cases (including 7 in serious condition) and 7 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on April 30, the National Health Commission had received reports of 82,874 confirmed cases and 4,633 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and in all 77,642 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 599 confirmed cases (including 38 in serious condition) and 9 suspected cases. So far, 732,966 people have been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 7,761 are now under medical observation.
On April 30, Hubei province reported no new cases of confirmed infections, no new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths.
As of 24:00 on April 30, Hubei had reported 68,128 cases of confirmed infections (including 50,333 in Wuhan) and 4,512 deaths (including 3,869 in Wuhan). In all, 63,616 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital, including 46,464 in Wuhan. There were no confirmed cases and no suspected cases.
On April 30, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 25 new asymptomatic cases (all are indigenous cases). 36 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 11 imported cases) and 6 asymptomatic cases (including 1 imported case) became confirmed cases. As of 24:00 on April 30, 981 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 115 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on April 30, 1,511 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 1,037 in Hong Kong (4 had been dead and 846 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 45 in Macao (35 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 429 in Taiwan (6 had been dead and 322 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
