A series of performances will be held in Shanghai Happy Valley during the upcoming Labor Day holiday from May 1 to 5.
Performers wearing ancient Chinese clothing will stage a traditional Chinese dance, and there will also be a parade of 20 people wearing pink koala costumes.
Visitors will also be treated to a light show over a 30,000-square-meter lake. The show is produced by a renowned French special effects group.
In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy a multitude of rides, including a 1,200 meter-long wooden roller coaster.
The park is offering discounted tickets targeting certain groups of visitors.
An adult ticket will cost 170 yuan ($24.6) from May 1 to 15, while the ticket package for an adult and child will be priced at 188 yuan from May 1 to June 7. Student tickets will cost 115 yuan until May 5.
Visitors wearing ancient Chinese clothing or dressed up as cartoon characters will only be charged 99 yuan.
All discounted tickets must be booked at least one day in advance.
As a safety precaution, only 24,199 people will be allowed in the park at once during the holiday.
Starting April 27, visitors can reserve tickets via the park's official WeChat account shanghaihappyvalley or scan the QR code on its official website.
Before entering, visitors will be required to have their temperatures taken and to present green health QR codes indicating they have little possibility of being infected with COVID-2019.
