Xigang district moves to promote production resumption

In order to help enterprises in its jurisdiction to cope with the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on production and operations, Xigang district of Dalian, in Northeast China’s Liaoning province, recently fulfilled various support policies.

According to local media reports, the district has continuously promoted the resumption of production of enterprises in its jurisdiction by taking nine specific measures of assistance.

Up to now, the production resumption rate of industrial enterprises above a designated size, foreign-funded enterprises, foreign trade enterprises, key retail enterprises, banks, insurance, securities and futures institutions, real estate and other key enterprises and key projects in the district has reached 100 percent.

To ensure that all enterprises can have sufficient supplies of masks, the district has organized qualified enterprises to switch to producing masks, and has developed an online mask service platform to provide convenience for enterprises to seek mask supplies.

To overcome the financing difficulties encountered by resident enterprises, the district has held meetings between government, banks and enterprises, which prompted many enterprises to reach loan arrangements with banks.

In addition, through the internet and scientific and technological means, the district has independently developed an inspection and service system for enterprises to fully meet the needs of enterprises, help enterprises to resume production, and achieve normal production capacities.
