Construction work on a super large tourism cultural project called the Hohhot Cultural Meeting Room Construction Project -- also known as the Eye of Qingcheng -- resumed in the capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region on April 9, according to a report in the local media.
The project, being developed by China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp, will be the largest public building in Inner Mongolia, covering an area of 141,070 square meters.
At present, the basic construction of the steel structure of the library, archives and folk culture exhibition hall of the Eye of Qingcheng has been completed and is being finished off.
In addition, the project’s Fangzhi Hall and National Youth Palace are in the construction stage in the main steel structure and work is continuing in the basement of the new performing arts center.
The developer has created a big data center for management and also applied new technologies and new processes, such as on-site reusable shaped protective barriers and reusable steel sidewalks.
