Xi'an, the ancient capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province was recently found to have one of the highest profiles for the country's metropolises abroad, according to a prestigious rating.
Xi'an was ranked fourth in the overseas communications influence index in the first quarter of 2020, in a reported issued by the data research center of haiwainet.cn of the People's Daily.
In the index, the city came fourth after the national capital Beijing, Wuhan in Central China's Hubei province and the southern megacity of Shanghai.
