BEIJING -- The Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) has issued quality assessment indexes for cases handled by procuratorial organs, with a total of 87 indicators to evaluate their main judicial activities.
This is the first time that the assessment indexes were formulated targeting the quality of case handling. By flexibly using these indicators, horizontal comparisons among regions, departments and individuals can also be realized, the SPP said.
The move aims to guide procuratorates at all levels to attach great importance to the quality of case handling and regard it as the lifeblood of their judicial work, covering main types of cases, case handling activities and litigation procedures, as well as procuratorial supervision methods, the SPP said.
