Northeast China’s Liaoning province will make all-out efforts to advance the construction of key infrastructure and industrial projects, according to Chen Qiufa, Party chief of the province.
Chen announced the measure at a meeting on April 23, urging officials at all levels to work harder to guarantee the development of a series of big projects launched by central authorities over the last few years, aimed at reviving Northeast China, a once-glorious old industrial base.
Major projects must all be implemented in full swing with a clear timetable and strive for fast completion and production expansion, Chen said.
He pointed out that Liaoning should make full use of the national strategy of boosting domestic demand to explore a new batch of high-quality and infrastructure projects.
Liaoning also will improve government services pertaining to the projects, such as simplifying approval procedures, and increasing investment and financing methods, Chen said.
