A cross-border live stream event for Southeast Asia was launched in the Nanning area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone, showcasing and selling high-quality anti-novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic products to foreigners through cross-border e-commerce platforms.
"Our live stream of anti-COVID-19 epidemic products on Lazada has attracted nearly 10,000 viewers in Southeast Asia and sales grew rapidly," said Ding Guoxun, manager of Guangxi TUS Cross-border E-commerce Co.
At present, the demand for anti-COVID-19 epidemic products in ASEAN countries has increased dramatically. TUS Cross-border E-commerce Co has launched special live stream sessions to sell protective clothing, masks, goggles, and other products online. It has delivered the products to ASEAN consumers through convenient logistics channels to ease the shortage of local COVID-19 epidemic prevention materials.
In order to better serve domestic and overseas sellers, TUS has promoted Lazada, the largest e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia, to build a cross-border e-commerce innovation service center in Nanning, taking advantage of the rich talent resources to improve services like live streaming and multilingual training, as well as to cultivate the China-ASEAN cross-border e-commerce industry chain of Guangxi.
