During the Qingming Festival holiday from April 4 to 6, 7.86 million tourists visited Southwest China's Guzihou province, generating 4.28 billion yuan ($606.64 million) in revenue.
By April 6, Guizhou had 91 libraries, 43 museums, 83 cultural centers, three art galleries, 1,223 cultural centers at the county, town and sub-district levels, as well as 12,194 community cultural service centers at the village level open to the public.
In addition, 391 A-level scenic spots opened to the public, which is 93.09 percent of Guizhou's A-level scenic spots, including all seven of its 5A-level scenic spots.
About 973,700 tourists visited Guizhou's 114 major scenic spots, contributing 13.11 million yuan in gate money. On April 6, the first day of the Qingming Festival Holiday, eight scenic spots including Qianling Park, Qingyan Ancient Town, Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, and Zhijindong Cave received more than 10,000 tourists.
