Jinan 'takeaway wall' becomes popular amid epidemic

A 2-meter-high wall was set up at one end of a night food market in Jinan, Shandong province to help in epidemic prevention and control efforts.

The wall has become a popular place for food deliverers to pick up takeout orders for delivery to customers. Posted on the inside of the wall are various promotional signs for restaurants, offering information such as their names, menu items, telephone numbers, and payment methods, including WeChat and Alipay.

There are now 64 restaurant ads posted on the wall, and nearly 200 takeaway orders are picked up by dozens of deliverymen between 11:00 to 12:30 each day.
