The Jinan municipal government rolled out an additional 23 measures on March 31 to help companies resume production and local residents return to normal life after the epidemic.
Local service industries are encouraged to gradually resume operations in tourism, catering, entertainment and accommodation.
All public spaces, such as tourist attractions, gardens, parks, and squares, and outdoor sports facilities will reopen to the public. Some forms of gatherings are still prohibited.
The city's hotels, restaurants, and snack shops will resume operation and begin providing dine-in services.
Some entertainment venues, such as indoor swimming pools and gyms, will be reopened while still maintaining strict prevention measures, such as limiting the number of people present at once, checking health codes, and taking temperatures.
For some hotels and inns, all additional requirements have been removed except for temperature-taking and real-name registration.
All regional restrictions on sales have been removed to satisfy local residents.
Public serve will also resume routine operations. Cultural attractions including libraries, art museums and cultural centers reopened to the public. Government service agencies reopened on-site offices and all service windows have reopened to residents.
Those coming from different provinces who carry a national epidemic prevention information code or a green health code will be allowed to enter with no additional restrictions.
The local government will continue to implement strict epidemic prevention and control measures for inbound travelers, such as pick-up service, group quarantine and nucleic acid detection.
