Taiwan people have been able to obtain their Suikang code, the personal QR code representing users' health condition used in Guangzhou, through real-name authentication since March 31, making Guangzhou the first city in Guangdong to launch this service for them.
After real-name authentication, Taiwan people can fill in the required information about their health condition to obtain the QR health code. The whole process to examination will take about one to three work days.
It is expected that the service will bring more convenience for Taiwan people living in Guangzhou in various areas like living and transportation.
A person in charge of the Guangzhou municipal Taiwan affairs office noted that relevant operating guidelines will soon be launched to help Taiwan people obtain their codes.
