Guiyang customs in Southwest China's Guizhou province recently released 18 measures to improve trade facilitation in Guian New Area.
The measures involve: enhancing reforms in streamlining administration, delegating powers, as well as improving regulation and services; supporting the integrated development of Guiyang and Guian New Area; expanding opening-up and creating a first-class business environment; deepening service trade innovation; as well as preventing and resolving major risks.
Guiyang customs will promote the two-step declaration of imported goods, permit qualified goods to enter before being checked at customs' checkpoints, and integrate online platforms to provide conveniences for companies.
It will provide advice to support Guian's participation in the China (Guizhou) Pilot Free Trade Zone construction, implement innovative supervision modes in the Guian comprehensive bonded zone, and promote Guian's Huchao railway station construction to connect with the New Land-Sea Corridor.
Guiyang customs will also support Guian's key companies and projects by utilizing the resources of scientific research institutes and universities, as well as taking Guian's advantages in bonded policies to set incubators for science and technology projects.
In addition, it will keep enhancing supervision on imported food, as well as fight against imported garbage, wildlife smuggling or any illegal activities to maintain the order of import and export trade.
