Guian New Area to promote investment in Shenzhen

The second investment promotion team of Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province will head to Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province and carry out investment attraction events for half a year.

The investment promotion and attraction will focus on big data, electronic information, high-end equipment manufacturing, modern agriculture, and tourism. By continously improving its investment promotion project library, Guian will start to attract investment in cities around Shenzhen like Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, and Zhongshan.

Since November of last year, Guizhou has started to send teams to Shenzhen to attract more companies to participate in Guizhou's economic development. The first team stayed in Shenzhen from Nov 11 to Jan 20 and targeted 96 companies, as well as 24 business associations.

Through the efforts of the first team, companies in Shenzhen have become optimistic about Guizhou's business environment and have shown a strong willingness to cooperate with Guizhou, said Li Hongwei, a member of both the first and second investment promotion team, who arrived in Shenzhen a week ago to prepare for the investment attraction activities.
