Hohhot, capital city of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, reported no novel coronavirus pneumonia or NCP infection cases on Feb 11 -- and the number of confirmed patients with the deadly virus in the city stood at seven by 9 am on Feb 11, according to the Health Commission of Inner Mongolia.
Officials said that three infections have been found in Yuquan district since the epidemic outbreak, two in Xincheng district, one in Saihan district and one in Huimin district.
The seven patients, who are receiving treatment in the Inner Mongolia No 4 Hospital, are currently in a stable condition with relatively stable vital signs, officials added.
As of Feb 6, the number of people having close contacts with the patients tracked by the city totaled 1,062.
Hohhot city has conducted a floating population registration across the city. As of Feb 6, 3,100 people from Hubei province had registered, of whom 2,542 were from Wuhan city. A total of 21,135 people from other provinces and 30,536 people from leagues and cities in the autonomous region were also registered.
So far, a total of 25,441 people have been quarantined for further observation.
As of Feb 6, 680 people had undergone nucleic acid tests. Except for seven confirmed cases, the test results of the remaining 673 samples were all negative.
