Guidelines for Personal Protection of Specific Groups from COVID-19

The Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention released guidelines to protect individuals involved in the prevention and control of COVID-19, giving directions for groups of personnel such as medical staff and other assistant workers.

All people who come into contact with or who may come into contact with COVID-19 patients and asymptomatic infected persons must use personal protective equipment including gloves, masks, goggles, face shields and protective suits.

For epidemiological investigators, when investigating close contacts, they should wear disposable work caps, medical surgical masks, work clothes and disposable gloves. Investigators should always stay at least 1 meter away from the person being investigated.
