Xi'an high-tech zone firm toasts first 2020 export order

Shaanxi Fast Auto Drive Co, the manufacturer and supplier of high-quality auto transmission systems in China, located in Xi’an High-tech Industries Development Zone (XHTZ), recently got a major boost with its first export order for the current year.

A spokesman said it received a supply order for more than 1,500 transmissions from Saudi Arabia, making contributions to the company's production and operations in the first quarter.

It is another big order for the company, following the major order for passenger buses exported to Saudi Arabia in 2019.

In the process of its return to work, the zone cooperated with other regions to provide strong support for the company's logistics and transportation to enable the return of employees.

Yan Jianbo, chairman of Shaanxi Fast Auto Drive Co, said his company would ensure the epidemic prevention and control, but would also fully improve the efficiency of resumption and production with the help of automated and intelligent production lines.

Officials said that as a key enterprise in Shaanxi province, its resumption of work has driven a large number of upstream and downstream companies in the industrial chain to resume output too.

This, they added, was of great significance to the economic and social development goals of the zone throughout the year.

In addition, after the outbreak of the epidemic, the zone donated 10,000 heavy duty N95 medical face masks, 100 sets of protective clothing and 50 pairs of goggles worth more than 340,000 yuan ($48,760.9) through reliable channels to aid the epidemic areas.
