Northwest China's Shaanxi province sent its fourth group of medics to lend a hand on the control and treatment of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic in Central China's Hubei province on Feb 19, according to local officials.
So far, the province has dispatched nearly 1,400 medics to Hubei to help the virus control efforts there.
The medical team is composed of 145 medics, including 26 doctors and 119 nurses, covering the fields of internal medicine, emergency and critical care.
Among the 145 medics, 87 are from Gaoxin Hospital operated by Xi'an International Medical Group, Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital and Shangluo Hospital run by Xi'an International Medical Group.
Up to now, Xi'an International Medical Group has dispatched a total of 322 medics -- to support Wuhan Eighth Hospital, Union Hospital affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Suizhou Central Hospital and Wuhan Optics Valley mobile cabin hospital.
