J​inan sends chartered buses to retrieve workers

Jinan is making efforts to help companies resume work, according to a news conference held by the Jinan municipal government on March 4.

To help workers currently residing outside the city return to work, the Jinan government is offering chartered buses for companies to provide them with safe transportation back to the city.

As of March 4, a total of 565 chartered buses were sent by 171 companies to retrieve 10,511 workers.

The Jinan municipal bureau of industry and information technology will cooperate with the local railway department and is planing to open special trains for migrant workers to resume to work.

Local authorities have received the necessary information on the first group of 3,036 workers. The first train is scheduled to depart from Chongqing.
