Enterprises in the Jinan Innovation Zone have gradually resumed operations in accordance with the local epidemic situation.
As of March 1, a total of 12,906 enterprises had resumed operations, including 276 industrial companies above designated scale, 334 service companies, and 170 companies involved in the building industry.
More than 1,600 employees in Qilu Software Park, located in the zone, have returned to work, and a total of 61 construction projects have resumed.
To help workers currently outside the city return to work, some companies have sent charter buses to pick up them in an effort to provide them with safe transportation back to the city.
During the epidemic, the zone has also inked a number of cooperation agreements via video conferences.
Six projects receiving a total of 6 billion yuan ($864.96 million) in investment were signed covering the fields of electronic communication, high-end equipment manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, and the modern service.
At the signing ceremony for Shandong's key projects on Feb 25, an additional four foreign-funded projects involving aerospace biomedicine, high-end equipment, and other industries were launched in the zone.
The total number of foreign investment enterprises in the Jinan Innovation Zone is now approaching 500.
