​Intelligent innovation project signed at video conference

A project signing ceremony was held through a video conference in Jinan,East China's Shandong province on Feb 13, according to the organizers.

The Lixia district government, Cisco, a global IT provider, and Dalin Wodun Intelligence System Company signed a cooperative agreement to build a Cisco (Jinan) intellectual innovation incubation center in Jinan.

Sun Shutao, the mayor of Jinan, attended the video conference.

"As we can see, big data and intelligent technologies have given great support in China's epidemic prevention and control and also to Jinan," Sun told the video conference.

The intelligent project, supported by the two leading software and IT equipment companies, will bring more international advanced technology and management experience to Jinan, he added.

Accordingly, the intellectual innovation center will rely on Cisco's hardware resources, software technologies and international educational resources. The center aims to develop into an intelligent technology service platform for technology R&D, data services, talent services and industrial services in Jinan.

Local officials said the project is also expected to speed up the city's growth driver's and further promote the city's high-quality development.
