Dear friends,

Ever since the outbreak of COVID-19, Guizhou province has put the safety and health of people first, and taken comprehensive, fundamental and strict measures in the prevention and control of the epidemic. Currently, the outbreak is trending in a positive direction.

Recently, the spread of COVID-19 is accelerating overseas and the cross-border transmission causes global concerns. Response to the virus has become the top priority in safeguarding global public health and we are all in this fight against the epidemic.

While strengthening the containment of local transmission, Guizhou will encourage more joint efforts, take necessary measures to ensure the safety and health of all the people (including foreign nationals), prevent and defuse cross-border transmission risks, and do our due part in winning the global battle against COVID-19. To this end, new measures have been rolled out as follows.

I. According to Guizhou's regulations on the prevention and control of COVID-19, we treat Chinese and foreign nationals alike. We will implement the prevention and control measures without any discrimination, take full consideration of your legitimate concerns, fully respect your religions and customs, and offer necessary support and assistance. Your understanding and cooperation is highly appreciated. The way of entering Guizhou include direct entry and transferring from other cities of China.

II. Please actively cooperate with departments and institutions of customs, border inspection, airports, civil aviation, high-speed rail (train) stations, and bus terminals etc. It is required to fill in the “health declaration card”, take temperature, accept medical checkup, report your recent travel history and take group-monitored medical observation.

III. If you come from countries and regions with grave epidemic situation, you should take group-monitored medical quarantine for 14 days at places designated by local governments. If you come from countries or regions that had COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days, you should take medical quarantine for 14 days at your own residence or designated places (if there is no residence available). If you come from countries or regions without COVID-19 cases, you would be included in the management of local communities and should take self-monitored quarantine for 14 days.

IV. People who are confirmed or suspected of contracting COVID-19 virus or have suspected symptoms, regardless of the countries or regions they come from, should follow the arrangements of relevant authorities of civil aviation, railways or highways and take quarantined medical treatment in hospitals designated by local governments.

V. Guizhou province attaches great importance to the safety and health of both Chinese nationals and foreign nationals in the province. Please do take necessary prevention actions, fully cooperate with relevant departments so as to fend off the risks of the epidemic and safeguard the safety and health of yourself and others.
