The authorities of Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) have rolled out a series of policies to support micro enterprises there resume production and work, according to Guiyang HIDZ officials on March 9.
The initiative for the smaller residents of the zone -- located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- mainly involves subsidies for materials being used for epidemic prevention and control, as well as subsidies for insurance, rents and the salaries of employees.
Before putting the policies together, authorities investigated the circumstances concerning the operations, work resumption and difficulties encountered during the epidemic of all micro enterprises in its jurisdiction.
As a result, it was able to come to an understanding about the basic situation being faced by the 725 micro enterprises affected by the epidemic.
At present, the zone has issued a notice that the small businesses micro enterprises can benefit from support policies -- and has started to accept applications for the subsidies.
Officials said that to date, 37 small and micro enterprises have been signed up for policy insurance.
