On March 11, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 15 new cases of confirmed infections, 33 new cases of suspected infections, and 11 deaths (10 in Hubei province and 1 in Shaanxi province). 1,318 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 2,206 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases decreased by 235.
As of 24:00 on March 11, the National Health Commission had received 80,793 reports of confirmed cases and 3,169 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and in all 62,793 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 14,831 confirmed cases (including 4,257 in serious condition) and 253 suspected cases. So far, 677,243 people have been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 13,701 are now under medical observation.
On March 11, Hubei reported 8 new cases of confirmed infections (all in Wuhan), 2 new cases of suspected infections (both in Wuhan), and 10 deaths (including 7 in Wuhan). 1,242 patients were released from hospital after being cured, including 1,053 in Wuhan.
As of 24:00 on March 11, Hubei had reported 67,781 cases of confirmed infections (including 49,986 in Wuhan) and 3,056 deaths (including 2,430 in Wuhan). In all, 50,298 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital, including 34,094 in Wuhan. There still remained 14,427 confirmed cases (including 13,462 in Wuhan), with 4,180 in serious condition (including 4,003 in Wuhan), and 158 suspected cases (including 152 in Wuhan).
On March 11, the Chinese mainland reported 6 new imported confirmed cases from overseas (3 in Guangdong province, 2 in Gansu province, and 1 in Henan province). As of 24:00 on March 11, the Chinese mainland had reported 85 imported confirmed cases from overseas.
As of 24:00 on March 11, 187 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 129 in Hong Kong (3 had been dead and 67 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 10 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 48 in Taiwan (1 had been dead and 17 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
