All of Tianjin's top 100 foreign-funded companies have resumed work, which is expected to benefit global industrial chains, company executives told China Daily.
They have struck an optimistic tone about Tianjin's economic resilience in the face of the ongoing epidemic of COVID-19, the pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus.
Lee Jinseob, general manager of Tianjin LG Bohai Chemical Co, said the company is running at 100 percent capacity. Its chemical products are "essential in the production of anti-epidemic supplies and the support of other industries", he said.
With the help of the local government, the company has returned to full capacity, producing up to 830 tons of caustic soda and 1,100 tons of polyvinyl chloride daily, he said.
