Gaozhou No 4 Middle School, formerly known as Huancheng Middle School, Haishan Middle School.

Founded in the autumn of 1968, Gaozhou No 4 Middle School is located in the east of Gaozhou. In 1997, it was included in the first batch of municipal first-class schools in Maoming. 

In 2000, it was rated as a first-class school in Guangdong province. In 2013, it became a state-level model senior middle school. 

In 2015, Gaozhou No 4 Middle School Affiliated Experimental School was established.
