A letter to Jiangsu-bound travelers entering China via Shanghai

Dear passengers,

Welcome to Jiangsu province. Welcome back home.

Due to current global spread of COVID-19, Jiangsu province has introduced inspection and quarantine measures for travelers from countries and regions severely affected by the disease in order to curb cross-border transmission, in accordance with the requirements of the State Council.

For the safety and health of yourself, your families and the public, we hope to have your understanding, support and cooperation in carrying out the following entry measures:

1. Please follow the guidance of our staff. Take a designated vehicle to the Huaqiao International Expo Center in Kunshan, Suzhou and keep your face mask on during the entirety of the trip. Also be sure to fill in the Passenger Information Form. You will be picked up by a vehicle provided by the local government of your destination shortly after arriving at the center.

2. You can have a brief rest at the center. You will have your temperature taken and will be required to declare your health conditions.

3. Please strictly abide by relevant epidemic control regulations and cooperate with the local government in implementing various control measures after arriving at your destination.

4. Those who refuse to cooperate or deliberately conceal their travel history, contact with confirmed cases and their own health information shall be investigated for criminal responsibility in accordance with the law, provided their actions caused the further spread of the epidemic and endangered public safety.
