BEIJING - The Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) has urged the handling of 45 major administrative cases in a special campaign that will last until the end of this year.
Starting from October last year, the campaign aims to push for the handling of lawsuits and disputes that concern administrative organs or individuals holding administrative posts, the SPP said.
The cases cover the non-public sector economy, labor rights, social security, land tenure and housing demolition, all areas prone to administrative disputes, according to the SPP.
All of the cases expose severe violations of the lawful rights and interests of citizens, legal persons or organizations. Some cases involve several administrative parties and some have been filed for years, posing difficulties for further handling, the SPP said.
The cases will be handled in two batches. The first batch of 11 cases all involve private businesses.
