Shinan enterprises benefit from rent reduction policy

To support work resumption and reduce the impact on production of the coronavirus outbreak, Shinan district in Qingdao, Shandong province, has issued several supporting policies for local enterprises.

Qingdao Hainuo Investment and Development Co, based in Shinan district, recently made a quick response and is promoting rent reduction, in line with a policy issued by the local government.

More than 180 enterprises in Qingdao Software Park and Qingdao Animation and Game Industrial Park will benefit from the rent reduction. The total value of the reduced rent of enterprises in the two industrial parks is expected to exceed 24 million yuan ($3.42 million).

According to a company manager, its affiliated companies promptly compiled statistics and assessed the situations of enterprises in the two industrial parks. Enterprises that have files on work resumption can all enjoy the benefit.

Rent for February and March can be exempted, and that for April and May will be reduced by half.

Songli Holding Group started operations in Qingdao Software Park in 2008 and provides big data services for smart city constriction. According to its manager, apart from the rent reduction, the company has also received supplies of protective materials to protect employees from the virus outbreak.
