Residents of Shinan district, Qingdao, East China's Shandong province, recently made paper cuttings to salute people fighting on the frontlines in the fight against the novel coronavirus.
Residents learned about paper-cutting in a class held by Li Cuimin, who set up a paper-cutting workroom in the district. The class is usually held every Thursday, but people are now showcasing their works and discussing them online due to the epidemic.
The paper-cuttings are meant to thank medics and community workers contributing to the fight against the epidemic, and are also meant to inspire and comfort people.
An exhibition is expected to be held to display the paper-cuttings after the epidemic ends.
