The 10,000 face masks donated by Xiamen Airlines reached Seoul airport in South Korea on Sunday to help South Korean counterparts fight against the novel coronavirus.
The donation is a return to the kind move of the company's South Korean captains who bought 1,000 masks in South Korea and donated them to their Chinese colleagues in early February when masks were in tight demands.
The masks donated by the South Korean captains aided in the company's work amid the epidemic, according to Xiamen Airlines, based in Xiamen, Fujian province.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Xiamen Airlines has been taking multiple measures to fight against the epidemic, including maintaining the international flights, transporting medical staff and materials to Hubei province and sending charter flights to foreign countries to bring back Chinese citizens.
