Guidelines on caring for frontline community workers released

The leading group of the CPC Central Committee on the Prevention and Control of the COVID-19 Outbreak released a guideline to implement measures to protect and care for community workers who fight the epidemic at the frontline in urban and rural areas on March 4.

Detailed measures will be adopted in the following aspects:

First, proper subsidies will be given to community workers in urban and rural areas.

Second, full support should be given to community workers concerning occupation-related injuries.

Third, improve prevention and protection conditions.

Fourth, relieve the burden and pressure on community workers by avoiding repetitive task assignments.

Fifth, ensure community workers are physically and mentally healthy.

Sixth, more care and greetings should be given to community workers.

Seventh, outstanding community workers who fight the epidemic in the frontline should be praised and honored.

Eighth, advanced role models should enjoy more publicity.
