All the key enterprises in Bama Yao autonomous county in Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region had resumed their normal operations by March 4, while also doing their best to prevent and control the novel coronavirus pneumonia.

There are currently 121 key enterprises in Bama, including 16 industrial enterprises above designated size, nine firms in the services sector, 20 agricultural leading enterprises, and 43 real estate enterprises.

An enterprise above designated size refers to one with annual sales revenue of more than 20 million yuan ($2.85 million).

The four major projects at the autonomous region level and the 23 major ones at the city level in the county had restarted their construction by March 4, with a return-to-work rate of 100 percent.

Bama has vigorously implemented the relevant regulations of Guangxi and Hechi regarding work resumption, as well as the epidemic prevention and control. It has issued a series of measures to support its key enterprises, enterprises with operating difficulties, as well as micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

"We have checked all of our employees and established the health records," said Lin Peixin, deputy general manager of Bama Huoquan Food and Beverage Co Ltd and Bama Hetai Longevity Industry Co Ltd. "Every employee must take their temperature and wear masks before entering the factory. Also, disinfection is carried out in the factory three times a day."

"We were meant to resume operations on Feb 1, but were delayed by more than 20 days due to the epidemic," said Huang Yaozhong, the person in charge of Bama Hesheng Animal Husbandry Development Co Ltd.

The enterprise, which resumed their production on Feb 26, received a lot of help from the county's bureau of agriculture and rural affairs. "The bureau of agriculture and rural affairs attached great importance to our resumption of production, constantly coming over to guide us and allocating a batch of facial masks to us," added Huang.
