A total of seven medical workers from Ordos city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region set off to help Central China's Hubei province in the fight against the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, on Feb 16. Local officials said they were the third team of medical staff from Ordos.
According to local media reports, after receiving the instruction to assist Hubei, the medical workers from four Ordos hospitals went to Hohhot in the afternoon on the same day. They joined medical staff from the other leagues and cities in the autonomous region, as members of the sixth batch from the autonomous region to go to Hubei.
To date, Ordos city has dispatched three teams totaling 18 medical workers to assist Hubei.
