In 2019, the value added of construction enterprises in China was 7.09 trillion yuan($1.03 trillion), up by 5.6 percent from 2018.
The profits made by construction enterprises qualifying for general contracts and specialized contracts reached 838.1 billion yuan, up by 5.1 percent from 2018. Of this total, the profits made by state-holding enterprises were 258.5 billion yuan, up by 14.5 percent.
