China's per capita disposable income stood at 30,733 yuan($4455.03) in 2019, up 5.8 percent year-on-year in real terms, official data showed.

Separately, urban and rural per capita disposable income reached 42,359 yuan and 16,021 yuan in 2019, up 5 percent and 6.2 percent in real terms after deducting price factors, respectively. The real growth of per capita disposable income in rural areas was faster than that in urban areas in 2019, indicating narrowing of the urban-rural income gap, according to the NBS data.

The per capita consumption expenditure of the whole country was 21,559 yuan in 2019, a nominal increase of 8.6 percent over the same period in 2018, and a real increase of 5.5 percent after deducting the price factor.
The per capita consumption expenditure of urban households was 28,063 yuan, an increase of 7.5 percent, with a real increase of 4.6 percent after deducting the price factor; the per capita consumption expenditure of rural households was 13,328 yuan, an increase of 9.9 percent, with a real increase of 6.5 percent after deducting the price factor.
