Stephen Mclone, an English expat living in Xin'an sub-district of Wuxi Xinwu district, delivered 150 hand-made Chinese meat-filled desserts to workers in the local community health service center on Feb 21.

Stephen has been working and living in Wuxi for seven years. Stephen is a customer service and technical support manager at Caterpillar's Asia Pacific business and a member of the Wuxi Foreign Businessmen Club, which has worked to spread awareness of epidemic prevention and control to expats in Wuxi.

Asked about his thoughts on the epidemic, he said: "I feel safe in the community where I live. The community team are doing a lot of great work to protect everyone. I often see the community team staff working late into the evening preparing activities so we all feel protected." It was for this reason that Stephen decided to make the desserts for the hardworking staff.

Yang Qiwen, head nurse at the Xin'an Subdistrict Health Service Center, said they appreciated the tasty present, which encouraged them to try their best to overcome the epidemic.
